Vending placement FAQ
Straight answers about free vending machine placement with SouthTex Vending.
What does it cost to host a machine?
Nothing. Placement is at no cost to the host. We own the machine, stock it, clean it, repair it and collect the money. You provide a safe spot, a standard outlet and access for service.
What kinds of machines do you place?
Snack machines, cold drink machines and snack/drink combo machines, sized to your space. Our combos are ADA compliant.
How do people pay?
Cash, and card or tap where the machine supports it.
Is there a long contract?
No long lock-in. Either side can end a placement with 30 days’ notice.
Where do you place machines?
Houston and the I-45 corridor, from Willis and Conroe through The Woodlands, Spring and north Houston down to South Houston and Pasadena, plus Humble. See locations.
Which machine is right for my location?
It depends on space, headcount, shifts and what people buy. We size it during a quick walk-through. A combo is a common starting point when floor space is limited.
Can we request products or rule some out?
Yes. Tell us what you want and what to avoid, for example nut-heavy items, energy drinks or anything a school doesn’t allow. We merchandise to your rules as supply allows.
Are the machines ADA compliant?
Our combo machines are ADA compliant.
Do the machines take cards?
Cash, and card or tap where the machine supports it.
What do you need from us?
A safe, level floor spot with room for the door to open, a standard grounded 120V outlet within cord reach, and reasonable access so we can restock and service. After-hours or badge-controlled sites need a contact who can let us in.
What if the machine breaks or eats someone’s money?
Call or text 936-230-6492 or email [email protected]. We handle repairs and refunds. Your staff are not expected to pay people back.
How do we end a placement?
Either side can end it with 30 days’ written notice (email is fine). We remove the machine and leftover product on a scheduled visit.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, we carry business insurance for placing and servicing vending equipment. We provide a certificate to you or your landlord on request before install.
We already have a vending machine. Can you help?
If service or variety has slipped, we’re happy to give you a backup option. Removing another company’s machine is between you and them.
Do you serve my city?
We serve Houston and the I-45 corridor: Willis, Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, north Houston (IAH / FM 1960), Humble, South Houston and Pasadena. If you’re close by, call and ask.
Do you place machines at small sites?
Small sites can work when people are there every day. We look at the traffic and space before committing a machine.
Can our location share in machine sales?
Some hosts just want the free amenity; others ask about sharing in sales. Ask about host programs when we talk.
Can we buy the machine?
Our offer is a placement we own and service. A purchase would be a separate conversation.
